Idaho State University TRIO receives two Upward Bound grants worth more than $3 Million

POCATELLO – Higher education is a different language, and it is easy to hit roadblocks if you are not raised knowing how to navigate it. This is why Idaho State University’s TRIO program has renewed the Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math Science (UBMS) grants this year. Combined, the two grants provide more than $3 million of support for ISU students.

'Genetic Tools for Species Conservation' — Phi Kappa Phi Scholarly Lecture on Thursday, Oct. 26 at ISU

POCATELLO — Janet L. Loxterman, associate professor and assistant chair of the Idaho State University Department of Biological Sciences, will present the annual Phi Kappa Phi Scholarly Lecture "Genetic Tools for Species Conservation" at 7 p.m. Oct. 26 in the Salmon River Suite of the Pond Student Union on the campus of Idaho State University, and the community is invited to attend.
