Opera Idaho to present Gaetano Donizetti’s “L’elisir d’amore” Nov. 3 at ISU Stephens Performing Arts Center

Pocatello's Ty Peterson featured in Warren Miller’s “Line of Descent” movie showing at Frazier Hall Auditorium on Nov. 4

POCATELLO – Pocatello’s own Ty Peterson will be featured in the Warren Miller ski movie “Line of Descent” when it shows at 7 p.m. Nov. 4 at Idaho State University’s Frazier Hall and he’ll also be present at the showing signing posters and sharing his experiences.

POCATELLO – Chemistry Professor Robert Holman and Biological Sciences Professor Kenneth Rodnick, two researchers from Idaho State University, conducted interdisciplinary research in order to further understand the early chemical processes involved with diabetic complications.

ISU School of Performing Arts to present free production of classic “The Taming of the Shrew”

POCATELLO – Idaho State University’s School of Performing Arts will present William Shakespeare’s classic “The Taming of the Shrew” on Oct. 28 and 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the Beverly B. Bistline Thrust Theatre in the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center. Both performances are free to the public, which is made possible by a grant from the F.M., Anne G., and Beverly B. Bistline Foundation.

ISU Physics and Pocatello Kiwanis to host a Haunted Science Lab

POCATELLO – The Idaho State University Society of Physics Students, the Kiwanis Club of Pocatello and the ISU Department of Physics will host a Haunted Science Laboratory exhibit open to the public on Saturday, Oct. 28, 5 – 9 p.m., and on Sunday, Oct. 29, 1 – 5 p.m. in the Pine Ridge Mall in Chubbuck.

POCATELLO – Idaho State University’s Cooperative Wilderness Handicapped Outdoor Group (CW HOG) in association with Pocatello Ski Association, Pebble Creek Junior Race Team and Pebble Creek Ski Patrol will host the annual Pocatello Ski Swap from Nov. 3 from 6 to 10 p.m. and Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Pond Student Union Ballroom.
