Idaho State Board of Education approves long-term lease for the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine at ISU-Meridian Health Science Center

MERIDIAN – The Idaho State Board of Education unanimously approved a 40-year lease for the proposed Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM) located at the Idaho State University-Meridian Health Science Center at a regularly scheduled board meeting Aug. 11 in Pocatello.

ISU Homecoming Parade set Sep. 24; Entry deadline is Sept. 9 to avoid late fee

Registration is open for the Idaho State University 2016 Homecoming Parade that will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24. Parade entries are due by 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9. After this date a $50 late fee applies. No entries will be accepted after noon on Friday, Sept. 16.

POCATELLO – The new, $500,000 video board donated by the Idaho Potato Commission is almost online at Idaho State University’s Holt Arena, and, due to the efforts of an enterprising student, American Falls High School will receive the dome’s old scoreboard.

National Institutes of Health grant helps Idaho State University Groome Neuroscience Lab study disease, train students

POCATELLO – Idaho State University researcher James Groome is studying mutated human proteins to help understand and fight a variety of diseases such as epilepsy, while at the same time training ISU students to become the type of scientists to carry-on this work.
