Idaho State University rodeo has another strong year; Women’s Team ranked No. 1 in region, heads to nationals June 11-17

POCATELLO –The Idaho State University Women’s Rodeo Team finished No. 1 and its member Makayla Boots won the women’s all-around in the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) Rocky Mountain Region, competing against 10 other teams.

POCATELLO – Idaho State University graduate student Andrew Dunn spent his undergraduate education studying the ins and outs of the Minidoka Internment Camp. For his graduate thesis, he decided to dig deeper into the history of food inside the internment camp, and how it affected both the camp and the world.

Premieres and music by local composers featured in ISU Wind Ensemble and Civic Concert Band concert

POCATELLO --Works by local composers, and several Pocatello premiers will be featured in the upcoming concert of the Idaho State University Wind Ensemble and Civic Concert Band. Noël Bakhtian named director of the Center for Advanced Energy Studies

IDAHO FALLS – Mark Peters, Idaho National Laboratory director, announced the appointment of Noël Bakhtian as director of the Center for Advanced Energy Studies (CAES) effective May 15, according to an INL press release.
