Classes Introduce Students to Parkour

Learning how to vault or do a backflip is not part of everyday homework, until now. This year Colin Mahoney introduced new parkour classes at Idaho State University.

ISU student advertising team takes home first-place trophy from National Student Advertising District Competition

POCATELLO – Students from Idaho State University took first place in the National Student Advertising Competition for District XI in Bozeman, Montana on April 15.

Idaho State University will confer 2,538 degrees and certificates at 2016 Commencement on May 7

POCATELLO – A total of 2,411 graduates will receive 2,538 degrees and certificates during Idaho State University’s spring commencement ceremonies, which will begin at 10 a.m. May 7 in Holt Arena. One hundred twenty-three students will receive multiple certificates and/or degrees.

ISU Master of Public Health student Hayli Worthington and Master of Business Administration student Andrea Vicic took a trip to Macedonia to work with a Christian aid group called Agape to provide food and assistance to the stream of refugees from Syria and Afghanistan.

POCATELLO- The Idaho State University Wind Ensemble is currently on tour across Idaho including the College of Southern Idaho, Rocky Mountain High School and Eagle High School. They will finish the tour with a concert at ISU on April 23.

POCATELLO – This May anthropology students at Idaho State University will have the opportunity to participate at the 2016 archaeology field school, spending one month learning how to excavate, survey and record and identify artifacts.
