Philosophy Program Announces Annual Scholarship Recipients

The Philosophy Program is pleased to announce that two undergraduate students have been awarded scholarships for the 2022-23 school year. These students are Maddie Salisbury and Dylan Longoria.

Idaho State First and Only Institution in U.S. to Hold Dual Accreditations

Idaho State University is the first institution in the U.S. to become accredited with both the College Provided Faculty and Concurrent Enrollment Program endorsements by the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) Accreditation Commission. The dually granted accreditations, which were earned by ISU’s Early College Program, are valid for seven years.

Idaho Museum of Natural History to Offer Free Admission to Active Military and Families for Summer

The Idaho Museum of Natural History on Idaho State University’s Pocatello campus announces it will join museums nationwide in participating in the thirteenth summer of Blue Star Museums, a program, which provides free admission to our nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families this summer.

Idaho State Graduates Record Number of Dual Enrollment Students from Renaissance High School

Rhoeta Mobry is a high school student graduating with both her high school diploma and an Associate of Arts degree in University Studies from Idaho State University. Mobry will be graduating with 83 college level credits, and has completed all her general education university requirements. She is one of 100 students this year from Renaissance High School in Meridian who will graduate high school with a college degree this spring — the largest dual credit graduating class to date.

Sustainable Idaho Wins Two Idaho Press Club Awards

KISU is proud to announce that Sustainable Idaho radio show hosts Scott Greeves and Rachel McGovern won two first place awards at the Idaho Press Club Best of 2021 Awards banquet in Boise on Saturday, April 30. Sustainable Idaho (SI), co-sponsored by The Portneuf Resource Council (PRC) and the ISU Sustainability Club, explores locally important sustainability topics.
