Idaho Museum of Natural History fundraising for science camps during Idaho Gives

POCATELLO – The Idaho Museum of Natural History on Idaho State University Pocatello campus has a full line-up of “Building Young Scientists” camps and activities this summer for K-12-grade students and will host an Idaho Gives 24-hour fundraising event on May 3 to help fund these programs.

Idaho State will award degrees and recognize ISU-Meridian Student Excellence Honorees at May 7 commencement ceremony in Treasure Valley

BOISE—Idaho State University will award a record number of degrees in the Treasure Valley at commencement May 7—with 315 students eligible for degrees, including 73 Renaissance High School students who will receive associate degrees in general studies through a partnership with ISU and the West Ada School District. The ceremony begins at 6 p.m. at the Boise Centre, 850 W. Front St.

MERIDIAN—Here’s the scenario. Nurses are attending a professional conference at Idaho State University-Meridian when an airplane crashes on busy I-84 next to campus. The scene is chaotic—shrapnel and debris are scattered everywhere, survivors are trying to flee the fire and fumes. Dozens are injured, some critically.
