ISU computer science students volunteer to scrub laptops for Idaho students in need

POCATELLO – Three Idaho State University computer science students volunteered for United Way of Southeast Idaho and Idaho Business for Education to help scrub donated computers to distribute to Idaho students in need of a device.

ISU College of Business graduate students earn runner-up ‘written documents’ trophy in international competition

POCATELLO – A team of six Idaho State University College of Business graduate students have brought home the runner-up trophy for “Best Written Documents” from the International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition (ICBS), which was held in a virtual setting this year.

ISU's Team Bird Brain receives $358,000 funding extension from National Institutes of Health

ISU's TEAM BIRD BRAIN, the lab of Associate Professor of Neurophysiology Jason Pilarski, recently received funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to support a project entitled "MECHANISMS OF RESPIRATORY-RELATED RHYTHMIC MOTOR ACTIVITY AND PLASTICITY IN THE DEVELOPING AVIAN BRAIN STEM" (Direct costs= $358,572).

POCATELLO – Coronavirus be darned – Idaho State University is celebrating Arbor Day in style with the release of a new online ISU Campus Tree Tour, following the recognition that University was designated a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation earlier this spring.

Southeastern Idaho Public Health works with ISU, private providers and Express Lab to increase access to COVID-19 PCR testing

Southeastern Idaho Public Health is partnering with Idaho State University, area private providers, and Express Lab to conduct COVID-19 PCR (polymerise chain reaction ) testing starting on Thursday, April 23 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The testing will run for at least the next 2-1/2 weeks. This testing is for current infection only and will be collected by nasal swab only.
