Renewal of Idaho State University-University of Idaho rivalry energizes Bengals

MERIDIAN – The Idaho State University Kasiska Division of Health Sciences will host the ISU Senior Health and Wellness Symposium from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 19 at the Boise Senior Center.

BOISE – Free flu shots while supplies last, basic physical and dental exams, and onsite testing for blood sugar levels and cholesterol are included in free services offered at a community health screening Thursday, Oct. 18, 4-7 p.m., at Garfield Elementary School, 1914 Broadway Ave., in Boise.

POCATELLO – Idaho State University was ranked first in Idaho for serving black students according to a report from the University of Southern California’s Race and Equity Center.

POCATELLO – An exhibition of oil paintings by renowned artist Roy Reynolds opens Oct. 1 at Idaho State University's Oboler Library, at 850 S. Ninth in Pocatello, and a reception for the artist is set 5-6 p.m. Nov. 14.

POCATELLO – The new Idaho Dinosaur Exhibit, opening Sept. 22 at the Idaho Museum of Natural History, was created in large part by children age 11 to 15 who participated in Dino Camps hosted this summer by the museum.
