New grant writer Mary van Muelken focused on research initiatives joins the Kasiska Division of Health Sciences

POCATELLO – Mary van Muelken, a grant writer whose efforts will be dedicated to coordinating research funding for a variety of projects, has joined the Kasiska Division of Health Sciences at Idaho State University.

POCATELLO – Naomi Velasquez, Idaho State University Department of Art professor and chair, has been named the 2018-19 Idaho Art Educator of the Year and the Higher Education Art Educator of the Year by the Idaho Art Education Association.

BOISE – Free flu shots while supplies last, basic physical and dental exams, and onsite testing for blood sugar levels and cholesterol are included in free services offered at a community health screening Thursday, Oct. 18, 4-7 p.m., at Garfield Elementary School, 1914 Broadway Ave., in Boise.
