Free flu shots and basic physical exams offered at ISU/Ada County Health Screening Nov. 15

November 2, 2018

BOISE—Free flu shots while supplies last,  basic physical and dental exams, and onsite testing for blood sugar levels and cholesterol are included in free services offered at a free community health screening Thursday, Nov. 15, 4-7 p.m., at First Baptist Church, 607 N. 13th St., in Boise.

ISU and community volunteers pitch in Nov. 3 to “Rake a Difference” for the Pocatello Free Medical Clinic

POCATELLO – This Saturday, Nov. 3, from 9 a.m. to noon more than 60 volunteers from the Idaho State University Honors Program, Grace Lutheran Church, Holy Spirit Catholic Community, Wells Fargo Bank, the National Honor Societies of Highland and Century High Schools, and a myriad of other individuals and organizations will be raking lawns throughout Pocatello in exchange for donations to the Pocatello Free Medical Clinic.

POCATELLO – Using clues like “Bid Online & Live,” “Big or Small, We Tow Them All” and “Where ISU Starts its Day,” everyone is invited to join in a community Treasure Hunt to locate 10 natural history exhibits displayed in local businesses throughout Pocatello and Chubbuck.

POCATELLO—Idaho State University announced today that Scott Snyder, dean of the College of Science and Engineering, will serve as the interim vice president for research after Neels Van der Schyf retires at the end of the year. POCATELLO – The team of Idaho State University math students comprised of Caleb Monoran, Alex Gose-Eells and Rosetta Roberts earned an Outstanding Award at the SIMIODE SCUDEM III 2018 Modeling Challenge hosted by the ISU Department of Mathematics and Statistics on Saturday, Oct. 27.

ISU Theatre to present “Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse”

POCATELLO -- Idaho State University’s Department of Theatre and Dance will present “Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse,” a family-friendly children’s theatre production on Nov. 2, 3, 9 and 10 in the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center.
