Paraprofessionals from School District 25 meet on the Idaho State campus

College of Education and School District Partner on New Teacher Pathway

In April, the Idaho State University College of Education welcomed more than 50 paraprofessionals throughout the Pocatello-Chubbuck School District 25 (SD25) to campus to learn more about a new paraprofessional-to-teacher pathway called PaCT, or Para to Certified Teacher program.

Students were able to engage in a discussion with two prominent business alumni during an Executive in Residence panel.

On April 6, students in the Idaho State University College of Business had an opportunity to ask questions and sit in on a discussion between two very successful and prominent alumni, Don Burdick and Mike Hayhurst. Burdick and Hayhurst were visiting the College of Business for a college-wide and accounting department-specific Executive in Residence event which took place over three days.

This past March, the TRIO McNair Scholars program had a national conference located at the University of Maryland. This conference consisted of first-generation, limited-income, and underrepresented students from across the country that gathered to present their undergraduate research and learn about graduate research opportunities.
