Project Management Certificate

Learn the Art of Quality Leadership

Project management involves the process of leading a team to achieve project goals within an organization. Learn the key concepts in basic philosophy, strategy, ethics, and analytical techniques important to global operations and supply chain decisions. Students will also participate in the International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition, where they apply their knowledge into a simulation of business choices for the chance in winning big prizes.

The Project Management Certificate at the College of Business offers Idaho State students and community members the opportunity to build this understanding through our nine-credit (three course) certificate. Anyone can enroll in the program, whether you are a student at Idaho State or not.

 Just Three Courses 

Operations and Supply Chain Management

Key concepts include the basic philosophy, strategy, ethics, and analytical techniques important to global operations and supply chain decisions.

Project Management

Philosophy and tools of Traditional and Agile Project Management utilizing applied methodologies. Addresses the independent, interdependent and opportunity for co-existence of both forms of project management.

ICBSC

Students compete in the annual International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition (ICBSC). Early rounds of the competition take place on campus, while the final rounds take place over an intensive weekend in various off-campus locations.

Get Started

The Project Management Certificate is open to current Idaho State students in any major as well as the public. If you are currently an Idaho State Student, the certificate can be added as a secondary curriculum to your current major. Current students should talk with one of our College of Business advisors to get started with the program. Members of the public can sign up for the certificate program through the Continuing Education Workforce Training (CEWT) program.
