Major in Accounting
Accounting is the language of business. A degree in accounting lends itself to a variety of career opportunities for those with an aptitude for analysis and an interest in leadership. From preparing taxes to investigating financial fraud as an auditor or forensic accountant, the major offers jobs in the business, government and academic fields.
The Idaho State University accounting program represents one of the top accounting degrees in the nation. Many of our students go on to our Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program. The program is also one of only 189 business schools in the world to hold both a business and accounting accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
