Among the Best Business Schools in the World
“[The international Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)] provides internationally recognized, specialized accreditation for business and accounting programs at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral level. The AACSB Accreditation Standards challenge post-secondary educators to pursue excellence and continuous improvement throughout their business programs. AACSB Accreditation is known, worldwide, as the longest standing, most recognized form of specialized/professional accreditation an institution and its business programs can earn.” –AACSB.edu
As an accredited institution of the AACSB, the College of Business operates under a high set of quality standards for our programs and professors. Each course’s curriculum is regularly reviewed to ensure the continued quality and innovative excellence of our programs.
The College of Business is also one of very few schools in the world to hold accreditation for both our business and accounting programs.
First in Idaho
In 1978, the ISU’s College of Business became the first business school in the state to receive accreditation from the AACSB.
Among the Best
The AACSB accredits less than 5 percent of schools granting business degrees worldwide.
Dually Accredited
The College of Business is among only 189 institutions holding an additional, specialized AACSB accreditation in our accounting program.
