Dr. James M. and Betty Kelly Endowment

Dr. James M. Kelly joined the ISU faculty in 1967 and was dean for the College of Business from 1969 to 1982. Under his guidance, the college became fully accredited in 1975. Jim and his wife, Betty, established the James M. and Betty Kelly Endowment to provide unrestricted assistance to the College of Business. Both Jim and Betty received B.A. degrees from the University of  Iowa. Jim went on to earn his M.A. from Michigan State University and his Ph.D. from the University of Colorado. The Kellys left ISU in 1982 for positions with the Albertson College of Idaho, Boise State University, and St. Cloud State University. Now retired, the Kellys reside in Boise, where Jim serves on the Intermountain Gas Industries board of directors.
