Masoom grew up in India. In 2020, she earned a bachelor's degree in Legal Studies and Energy Laws.  After graduation, Masoom worked at Wizork where she lead a product team to build an innovative learning management platform for autistic children.

Gwyn became interested in economics during her first year of college, and has research interests in labor economics, gender economics, and the economics of immigration. After she graduates from ISU, Gwyn hopes to further pursue her research interests in a PhD program and eventually teach. Some of her other interests include reading, learning new cooking recipes, and playing video/board games.

Tesia grew up all over the east coast, most recently in Ohio. She received her undergraduate degree in Public Health from Bringham Young University- Idaho. During her undergraduate years, she discovered a love for math and teaching. This lead her to pursue a Masters in Accounting through Idaho State University's MACC program. After graduation, Tesia plans to pursue her Ph.D. in accounting or business. Her goal is to teach at the college level, helping future accounting and business students learn to love their fields and help make the world a better place through them. Tesia loves reading books, baking and cooking new food, and participating in outdoor and community activities in her free time.

MTax/MBA (December 2020)

Sabrina grew up in Lewiston, Idaho. She graduated in Accounting from Bringham Young University- Idaho, where she was awarded the Outstanding Accounting Graduate Award. Her love of the tax law led her to Idaho State’s MTax program. After graduation, Sabrina plans to work for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Washington DC office. Her goal is to help people reach their financial goals through strategic tax planning.  In her free time, Sabrina loves reading books on leadership, discussing intriguing ideas, traveling to exciting places and trying new foods everywhere she goes.

Hayden is from Morgan, Utah. In 2015, he received his Bachelor’s Degree from Weber State University in Athletic Therapy. Currently, he is studying at Idaho State and will graduate in May of 2020 with an MBA (emphasis in Finance). Upon graduation, he looks to pursue a career in the Finance industry. In his spare time, he enjoys playing/watching sports, spending time with family and riding horses.

Isaac grew up in Maine but has lived in the Western United States since 2008.  In 2017, he earned a bachelor's degree in Public Health from Brigham Young University.  After graduation, Isaac moved to Twin Falls, ID where he directed the regional Occupational Health delivery for St. Luke's Health System.  Isaac will complete the MHA/MBA at Idaho State University in May 2020. He plans to complete a post-graduate fellowship and pursue careers in healthcare operations.  Isaac enjoys cooking, playing all sports and spending time with his wife Angela and two sons.

Tony Torres grew up in Sugar City, Idaho and received a bachelor's degree from BYU-Idaho in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Chemistry. He was influenced at an early age to pursue a career in healthcare. Tony is currently seeking dual master's degrees in Idaho State's MBA/MHA programs and expects to graduate in May 2020. Upon graduation, Tony will begin an administrative fellowship with the University of Kansas Health System.

Ritesh is from Nepal and has been in the United States since 2016, pursuing his bachelor's degree in Economics. His research interest lies in studying how to reduce poverty, primarily in the less developed countries. After coming to ISU, Ritesh has been involved in various organizations and leadership positions, including putting forth the first TEDxIdahoStateUniversity, working to start a non-profit, among others. He has been the recipient of the MLK Emerging Leaders award in 2020. He has been a speaker at ISU Brown Bag Series and ASISU Speaks. Ritesh wants to pursue a Ph.D. in Development Economics and continue his research towards learning and helping reduce poverty. In his free time, he likes to read books, cook and watch anime.

MBA (December 2020)

Ling Chun graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2016 with a Bachelor of Recreational Management. While completing his undergraduate degree, He was actively involved in events coordination and sports officiating. After graduation, he accepted a position working as a general manager for Mack’s Inn Resort where he developed his passion for hospitality management. Ling Chun will complete the MBA at Idaho State University in December 2020. He hopes to enhance his previous experiences in hospitality with a wider range of skills, in a more business-focused capacity. Ling Chun enjoys traveling and playing basketball.

 

Jake Waggoner

Jacob Waggoner

MBA (May 2020)

Jacob grew up in the local Idaho Falls area where he went to join the United States Marine Corps serving in Camp Pendleton, CA primarily with 11th Marines Headquarters Battery (Artillery Regiment). Jacob served as a Supply Chief where he managed the regiments multi-million dollar annual budget, all construction contracts, procurement/demand planning, and logistical planning/strategy movement for the Regiment. Afterward, Jacob moved back to Idaho Falls where he finished his bachelor's in Business Management in two and a half years. Jacob then finished his MBA while being an Inventory Controller for the Idaho National Laboratory. Jacob loves spending time with his wife, Shania, as well as spending his time in the great outdoors doing various activities such as dirt bike riding, snowboarding, hiking and mountain climbing.

Kemardo grew up in Jamaica but moved to the United States on a Track and Field scholarship. In 2014, he completed a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Notre Dame College in Ohio, and a Master of Science degree in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas. He competed in NCAA Track and Field as a student-athlete and represented Jamaica. Kemardo worked as a PC Lifecycle Analyst at Tyson Foods Inc. focusing on the lifecycle of machines from the procurement to disposal of old assets. His goals include becoming a Director of Operations, as well as, becoming a Management Consultant. Kemardo enjoys playing tennis, singing, traveling and watching Netflix (anything investigative) and sports activities.

Erin grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Food Sciences from Brigham Young University. While at BYU Erin participated in many extracurricular activities, and was on the women’s rugby team. Afterward, she moved to Idaho to work for Basic American Foods as a QA supervisor. Upon graduation, Erin has a summer internship at ESI in their legal department and will be attending law school in the fall. Erin is interested in immigration and desires to pursue civil rights law. In her free time, Erin loves to run, spend time with friends and family and decorate cakes.
