POCATELLO – “Timor Mortis Conturbat Me: Fantasy and Fear,” a lecture by English Professor Brian Attebery, will be hosted by the Idaho State University Department of English and Philosophy on Friday, Oct. 18 at 3:30 p.m. in Kegel Liberal Arts Building Room 256 on the ISU campus.

Idaho State University to host Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration on Oct. 14

POCATELLO – Idaho State University will host its inaugural Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration on Oct. 14, which will feature a sunrise ceremony, speeches, panel discussions, workshops, performances and a film screening.

POCATELLO – On Oct. 25 and 26 the Idaho State-Civic Symphony will continue its 2019-2020 Storied Season by performing two concerts featuring music from some of the most popular films of all time – accompanied by clips of the movies projected on a gigantic silver screen.

POCATELLO – KISU-FM Public Radio and the Alturas Institute will present three “Constitutional Conversations” with U.S. constitutional scholar David Alder on the topic of “Donald Trump and the Law of Impeachment” Oct. 3 in Idaho Falls and Oct. 17 in Pocatello, and on “Presidential Powers” Oct. 24 in Pocatello.

American Public Health Association president to speak at ISU Oct. 4

MERIDIAN – Dr. Pamela Aaltonen, the president of the American Public Health Association, will speak Oct. 4, noon to 1:30 p.m., in Room 508 of the Sam and Aline Skaggs Health Science Center at Idaho State University-Meridian, 1311 E. Central Drive.
