ISU Ambush 5k obstacle run scheduled Sept. 7

POCATELLO – The Associated Students of Idaho State University will host the eighth annual ISU Ambush, a 5-kilometer mud and obstacle team challenge, on Sept. 7 at Red Hill on the ISU campus.

ISU CW HOG program serves veterans by offering rafting adventure

POCATELLO – For the fifth consecutive year the Idaho State University Cooperative Wilderness Handicapped Outdoor Group (CW HOG) offered a free trip to veterans for a five-day rafting adventure down the Green River through the “Gates of Lodore” in Dinosaur National Monument.

New Idaho State University exhibit highlights the significance of Southeast Idaho railroads

POCATELLO – Idaho State University’s Eli M. Oboler Library will host the opening and reception of the exhibition “Exploring an Industrial State: Southeast Idaho Railroads, 1879-1963,” on Tuesday, Aug. 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Special Collections and Archives department located on the lower level of the library.

POCATELLO – This summer, a record 66 Idaho State University undergraduate students delivered posters and another 23 non-student ISU personnel registered and attended the Idaho Conference on Undergraduate Research.

POCATELLO – The Idaho State University physics program and the Pine Ridge Mall invite the public to join them at the mall’s food court on Saturday, Aug. 17, for liquid nitrogen ice cream and “phrozen physics” demonstrations from 11 a.m. to noon.
