Farewell Reception for Idaho State University President Arthur Vailas set May 2

POCATELLO – A Farewell Reception for Idaho State University President Arthur C. Vailas will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. May 2, with remarks at 5:30 p.m., at the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center.

POCATELLO – A total of 2,427 graduates will receive 2,566 degrees and certificates during Idaho State University’s spring commencement ceremonies, which will begin at 10 a.m. May 5 in Holt Arena. One hundred thirty-two students will receive multiple certificates and/or degrees

MERIDIAN—Here’s the scenario. Nurses are attending a professional conference at Idaho State University-Meridian when an airplane crashes on busy I-84 next to campus. The scene is chaotic—shrapnel and debris are scattered everywhere, survivors are trying to flee the fire and fumes. Dozens are injured, some critically.

ISU has awarded $14 million to new incoming fall 2018 freshman Idaho students

POCATELLO – Idaho State University is giving more than $14 million in Idaho Resident four-year recruitment, Step Ahead and Honors Scholarships to more than 2,500 new, incoming Idaho students who are admitted to enter ISU fall 2018. 

Jared Cantrell named Idaho State University 2017-18 Student Employee of the Year

POCATELLO — Jared Cantrell,  a senior  Idaho State University Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering employee has received the ISU 2017-2018 Student Employee of the Year Scholarship and a $2,000 scholarship from the ISU Career Center and Scholarship Office.
