POCATELLO – Idaho State University student Shelby Rae Murdock recently placed second in the Young Adult Division at the National Oldtime Fiddlers’ Contest and Festival in Weiser, Idaho. The Young Adult Division is for fiddlers aged 18-36.

ISU Summer Institute for Piano and Strings opens with faculty concerts

POCATELLO – The third annual Idaho State University Summer Institute for Piano and Strings starts on Monday, June 20. It will be a full week of concerts, seminars, focus classes, chamber music, coaching, crafts, contra dancing and music history and theory.
