Idaho State University student entrepreneurs meet the challenge

POCATELLO – Eight groups of students and alumni from various colleges at Idaho State University have banded together to participate in a competition headed by the ISU College of Business and Jeff Street, director of the ISU Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (CEED).

POCATELLO – Families with two or more children ages 4-11 who physically fight on a regular basis are sought for the on-going Sibling Aggression Project conducted at the Idaho State University Psychology Clinic.

Free flu shots and basic physical exams offered at ISU/Ada County health screening March 9

Basic physical and dental exams, flu shots while supplies last, and onsite testing for blood sugar levels and cholesterol are included in free services offered at a community health screening Thursday, March 9, 4-7 p.m., at the Idaho State University-Meridian Health Science Center, 1311 E. Central Drive, in Meridian.

ISU Professor Terry Ownby accepted into Atomic Photographers Guild

POCATELLO – Terry Ownby, Idaho State University associate professor of photo media, was recently accepted into the Atomic Photographers Guild (APG), an international collective of more than 30 artists dedicated to making visible all facets of the nuclear age.

Idaho Humanities Council to honor ISU's Susan Swetnam for Outstanding Achievement in the Humanities

The Idaho Humanities Council will honor Idaho State University Professor Emeritus Susan Swetnam with IHC’s Award for “Outstanding Achievement in the Humanities” at a wine/dessert reception and award ceremony on Wednesday, March 29, 7 p.m., in ISU’s L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center, Marshall Rotunda.
