ISU issues 'all clear' after report of person carrying gun case on campus

POCATELLO – Shortly before 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27, Idaho State University received a report of an unidentified male carrying what appeared to be a gun case on the north side of Frazier Hall. An emergency alert was immediately sent out to the campus community.

POCATELLO – Idaho State University’s Department of English and Philosophy will host Visiting Writer Shawn Vestal on Thursday, March 8, for a reading at 6:30 p.m. and a workshop for high school students at 4:30 p.m.

Basic physical and dental exams, flu shots while supplies last, and onsite testing for blood sugar levels and cholesterol are included in free services offered at a community health screening Thursday, March 9, 4-7 p.m., at the Idaho State University-Meridian Health Science Center, 1311 E. Central Drive, in Meridian.

ISU Professor Terry Ownby accepted into Atomic Photographers Guild

POCATELLO – Terry Ownby, Idaho State University associate professor of photo media, was recently accepted into the Atomic Photographers Guild (APG), an international collective of more than 30 artists dedicated to making visible all facets of the nuclear age.
