Service learning book wins ISU Teaching Literature Book Award

POCATELLO – The Idaho State University Department of English and Philosophy has announced “Service Learning and Literary Studies in English,” edited by Laurie Grobman (Penn State University, Berks) and Roberta Rosenberg (Christopher Newport University) as the winner of the 2017 Teaching Literature Book Award.

Free flu shots, basic physical and dental exams, and onsite testing for blood sugar levels and cholesterol are included in free services offered at a community health screening Thursday, Sept. 21, 4-7 p.m., at Whitney United Methodist Church, 3315 W. Overland Rd., in Boise.

Idaho Museum of Natural History to display Idaho State University history

POCATELLO – The Idaho Museum of Natural History on the campus of Idaho State University will open “I Love ISU: the Exhibit” just in time for ISU Homecoming 2017. The exhibit will run Sept. 16 – Oct. 8.
