"If you stumble, make it part of the dance." - River Maria Urke
Hello everyone, my name is Emma Wright, and I am entering the fourth year of my undergrad. I was a dancer for eleven years and am now an instructor. In the summers, you can find me back in my hometown of Wilder Idaho swimming in the river. I am pursuing my bachelors in sociology and psychology with a minor in American Sign Language. My goal is to graduate with my master’s in counseling and to become a private behavioral therapist for early adults and adolescents. Some of my favorite hobbies are watching movies, playing Stardew, dancing, and joining game nights with my friends. And I can promise you we will become good friends if you mention books, Harry Potter, or offer me chocolate or time with cute fur babies.
You should also know that honesty and drive are very important values for me. If I can give you any amount of wisdom before we meet it would be to lean on me while you are here at ISU. You can always come to me with any sort of struggle that you may face. I am here to help, so use me when you need. Also don’t be afraid to try new things while you are here. This is your time to learn and grow. So, make sure to utilize all available opportunities. I am very excited about this year and getting to know all my mentees, see you all soon.
