I am a M.S. in Geology student working with Dr. Leif Tapanila on researching whorl-toothed sharks from the Paleozoic. I graduated with a B.S. in Geology from Winona State University in 2024 and I am excited to further my education in geology and paleontology. I am eager to learn about the history of life on Earth, paleontology has many intriguing stories to offer.
My thesis research is focused on the whorl-tooth sharks form the Paleozoic. I have investigating the ecological role and niche these whorl-tooth sharks fill. Currently, I am working on using 3D imaging techniques to study fossil skull material of Sarcoprion.
