MyISU
MyISU is a portal for students that connects them to university tools and services. You can find and keep all your resources and info in one place!
With your MyISU account you can:
- Check you ISU email
- Access Canvas for your classes
- Check your course registrations
- Access ISU’s Library online
- Track your progress in DegreeWorks
- Pay for courses
- Apply for graduation
- Request your transcripts
How to Claim your MyISU account:
- Look for an email from iam@isu.edu to claim your ISU account upon acceptance to the university. Note: You will receive the email at your Personal email address (used on your application)
- Follow the instructions provided in the email:
- Copy the Account Claim String (code)
- Click on the Claim Link to open the Password and Account Management Portal
- Type your Account Claim Email (email address where your Account Claim Email was sent)
- Paste the Account Claim String (sequence of numbers and letters you copied from the email)
- Type your Date of Birth (type your date of birth in the mm/dd/yyyy format)
- Check the Captcha Check Box to indicate that you aren't a robot
- Click SUBMIT
- Go to the Idaho State University Acceptable Use Policy and review the terms
- Click ACCEPT Note: if you click DECLINE, you cannot complete setting up your account
- User Details
- This screen displays your assigned ISU Username. Your username is based on the preferred name you provided to ISU and is not something you can change
- Click Next to proceed
- Create and confirm a new password
- Type your New Password
- Re-type your Password
- Click RESET PASSWORD
- Notes: Please visit the password rule article details
- If the password match, you will get a message saying you have successfully reset your password
- If the passwords do NOT match, you will get a message asking you to re-enter your password
- If your chosen password does NOT meet the Password rules, it will not be accepted, and you will be asked to enter a password that meets the regulations. Note: The screen will display which rules your password did not meet
