Veterans

The first PAs were Navy Corpsmen who served in the Vietnam War, later transitioning to civilian life as Physician Assistants. The Idaho State University Physician Assistant Studies Program is dedicated to remembering the beginning of the profession among the military service members who strive toward goals much bigger than themselves.

ISU is committed to veterans in the community. ISU encourages the enrollment and support of military veterans, service members, and their families by providing a network of support programs and services. Leading this effort is the Veteran Student Service Center.
