BPA State Leadership Conference

Each year, Idaho State University BPA attends a State Leadership Conference in Boise, Idaho. This conference is a chance for students to showcase their skills, build connections, and become leaders. While at this conference, members get to compete with and against members from six different university chapters across the state of Idaho. Events can be anything from Desktop Publishing, Interviewing Skills, Human Resources, Admin Support, and skills with Microsoft or Adobe products. Most are individual competitions, with some being a team competition. Members not only get to connect and work with their own chapter, they get to meet and interact with members across the state. The members can make connections that will last a lifetime. Members can also attend workshops and better themselves to become a better leader. These workshops will help to develop skills that will help them become a leader and prepare for the modern workforce they are headed into. Members also have the opportunity to be elected to the State Officer Team and help lead the post-secondary division of Idaho for BPA. Placing at state will also send you to represent Idaho at the National Leadership Conference, held each year.
