Integrity — Honesty in our actions and words

We work with students to address discourse and uncomfortable situations by building communication skills, modeling navigation of difficult conversations, serving as mediators for addressing broken community standards, and aiding students in getting to constructive outcomes in challenging situations.

Community — fostering connections

We work with students to find other students, staff, and faculty with whom to build meaningful relationships.  We share information about and encourage participation in student organizations and campus activities that will expand student connections and help them to become an active part of our campus community.

Inclusivity — valuing all and building a culture of belonging

We work with students to expand their experiences, support their exploration of their values in a new environment,  present new ways of thinking, and support the changing ways in which students view the world.  We encourage students to help create an environment in which all members of the community feel welcome and safe.

Teamwork — collaborating with compassion and respect

We work with students to build better relationships with their peers, staff, and faculty by being open to new ideas and experiences.  Our goal is to foster collaborations that help build and sustain the ISU family and to nurture the well-being and success of all members of our community.

Learning — continuous growth and development

We work with students to remove barriers to their success, provide opportunities for them to connect to valuable resources on campus, and aid them in achieving their goals, including obtaining their degree, certification, etc.
