Dear ISU Graduate Students and Advisors,

Welcome to ISU Graduate Student Appreciation Week 2026! Throughout the week, we will be on the Pocatello, Idaho Falls, and Meridian campuses to recognize and celebrate our graduate students and the faculty who support them. To kick the week off, I want to take a moment to extend my sincere appreciation to all of you for the important role you play in shaping graduate education at ISU.

To our graduate students - you are the heart of our graduate community.  This community is defined by curiosity, innovation, and a courageous commitment to exploration and discovery. Your work as students and scholars pushes boundaries and contributes meaningfully to your fields and to our communities - in Southeast Idaho and beyond!

To our advisors, thank you for your mentorship, guidance, and unwavering support. Your dedication to the intellectual growth and professional development of our graduate students changes lives. Please know how much your contributions are valued.
