Turner Day

Turner Day is an Idaho State University tradition. The "Father of ISU" - Theodore Turner - fought for a four-year school in Pocatello for more than 50 years and helped get a bill signed creating an independent, degree-granting, four year school in Pocatello called Idaho State College. Bengals celebrate our alma mater's independence with a day of service each March called Turner Day.
