Albion Center Scholarship for Educator Excellence
Idaho State University’s Albion Center for Professional Development proudly announces a new scholarship aimed at developing and equipping future leaders in education, while helping to ease the financial burden of a graduate education.
The Albion Center Scholarship for Educator Excellence will cover up to $4,000 per semester, full-time and up to $2,000 per semester, part-time with a lifetime maximum of $16,000—helping students save 70% on tuition! Scholarships are renewable for four years (eight semesters) or until completion as long as students continue to meet the eligibility criteria.
The Albion Scholarship for Education Excellence application closed on May 5, 2025. Awardees will be notified in June 2025.
Eligibility and Application Requirements
- Must be an Albion Center for Professional Development student who has registered for and completed at least one course between Sept. 1, 2023 - June 1, 2025, and must be able to upload an Albion transcript as part of their scholarship application.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher in an education related field from any college or university in the United States accredited by an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, or with equivalent preparation acquired in another country.
- Must be able to submit a current resume, including the names of and contact information for at least two professional references.
- Must be able to submit a short essay (one-page maximum) about future career goals.
- Must apply to and meet all criteria for admission to the Idaho State University Graduate School as well as individual program admissions, including having a 3.0 GPA.
- Must enroll in a 100% online master’s program within the Idaho State University College of Education including:
Consideration will only be given based on an applicant’s current state of residence and/or workplace location in the following states: Alaska, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, and Ohio. A total of 30 scholarships will be awarded. You are NOT required to apply to or be accepted by the ISU Graduate School before being considered for this scholarship.
Application closes on May 5, 2025. Awardees will be notified at the beginning of June and must apply to the ISU Graduate School by July 1 to start in fall 2025. Out-of-state students will be eligible for a special in-state tuition rate. College of Education graduate program application waivers are available for students to apply for free. Space will be limited to 30 recipients for the fall 2025 semester.
