Scholarship Information for Current and Continuing Students

 

STEP 1

FAFSA

Complete the FAFSA

Some scholarship awarding is based on demonstrated financial need. To be considered for any need-based awards, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the appropriate year.  The FAFSA opens each October for the next academic year.

We encourage students to submit the FAFSA as soon as possible.

STEP 2

BOSS

Apply for Additional Scholarships

Log into the Bengal Online Scholaship System (BOSS) starting January for fall and annual awards or October for spring awards to apply for additional scholarships at ISU.  Remember to keep checking BOSS throughout the year for more scholarship opportunities.

STEP 3

SBOE

Apply For Idaho State Board of Education Scholarships

If you are a continuing undergraduate Idaho Resident please click the "SBOE" button to access information regarding Idaho State Board of Education Scholarships.  If you have already received SBOE scholarships, make sure you submit your renewal application by the application deadline found on the SBOE website if applicable.

STEP 4

Apply for Outside/External Scholarships

Browse the external scholarship list in BOSS more opportunities.

Also visit the National Scholarship Search Databse.

Remember, you should never pay to apply to a scholarship. Do not provide your SSN#. Be cautious of scams.
