Idaho State University geosciences department stresses very small possibility of strong earthquake following recent Soda Springs seismicity

POCATELLO – Although there has been a swarm of earthquakes in Southeast Idaho the likelihood of a strong 7.0 earthquake, although possible, is remote, noted professors in the Idaho State University Department of Geosciences.

ISU awarded AmeriCorps grant to serve children and families throughout Idaho

POCATELLO—Idaho State University’s HealthCare for Children and Families AmeriCorps program has received a $345,915 federal grant to provide basic health screenings for children and connect underserved families to community resources that can improve their lives, according to the Idaho Department of Labor and ISU.
