Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP) Benefits

You can also choose to join the National Guard or Army Reserve and contract into the program as a cadet. As a Reservist or National Guardsman, you may be eligible for Montgomery G.I. Bill® benefits and tuition assistance.

Example of benefits for In-State Junior:

  • Drill Pay (E-5) - $3192/year
  • Tuition Assistance - $4833/year
  • ROTC stipend - $4500/year
  • G.I. Bill® - $3300/year
  • G.I. Bill® Kicker - $3500/year
  • Total - $19,355/year
  • Over $58,000 for a 3-year SMP student!
