Alyssa
Geology Support Specialist
GEOL 1100, 1107 and 2205
My name is Alyssa and I am a fourth-year student in Earth and Environmental Systems. When I’m not on a field trip, you can find me in the Physical Science building (my second home). In 2022, I worked in the GIS Training and Research Center to research the connections between the power grid and wildfire using geospatial technology and satellite imagery. I’m part of the Geoclub Presidency, where I help organize events for all majors to have fun and socialize. When I have free time indoors, I enjoy singing, playing the piano, and gaming. In the future, I hope to travel the globe and learn all there is to know about the natural world.
