Idaho State University to present operatic version of well-known play “Our Town”

POCATELLO – Idaho State University’s School of Performing Arts will present “Our Town” the Opera on April 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Diane and Chick Bilyeu Theatre in Frazier Hall. 

Idaho State University School of Performing Arts begins Preparatory Strings Program

POCATELLO – This year the Idaho State University School of Performing Arts started the Preparatory String Program, which offers the opportunity for local community members to take private music lessons taught by ISU string students and to perform in an end-of-semester recital.

Reckless Kelly to perform at ISU’s A Season of Note

POCATELLO — Country rock band Reckless Kelly is slated to perform at Idaho State University’s A Season of Note concert series on Saturday, April 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the Jensen Grand Concert Hall, located in the Stephens Performing Arts Center.

POCATELLO – She’s performed in all 50 states over the last 20-plus years and Grammy Award-winning singer Kathy Mattea will be back in Idaho to perform The Acoustic Living Room concert with her longtime collaborator and guitarist Bill Cooley on March 17 at Idaho State University.

ISU College of Arts and Letters raises more than $65,000 at fifth annual New Year’s Eve Gala, sees record attendance

POCATELLO – Idaho State University’s College of Arts and Letters raised more than $65,000 in revenue at its fifth annual New Year’s Eve Gala and saw record attendance. After expenses, the remaining proceeds will benefit College of Arts and Letters students.
