Respectful Workplace Training

ISU employees may have received or will be receiving an “assignment” to complete this training within our talent management system (TMS). Please review and follow the directions below to complete this requirement.

Idaho State University faculty and staff are asked to join all other State employees in completing an annual Respectful Workplace Training.

Everyone is worthy of respect. As we work together to create a safe, inclusive and respectful workplace, we will discuss steps we can take to create this environment, even if we don’t always agree. Identifying and preventing discrimination, harassment, and sexual harassment on our campus protects everyone.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

DHR requires all State of Idaho employees complete annual Respectful Workplace Training by December 31, 2023. Completion of this training is required for benefit-eligible faculty and staff to be eligible for FY25 change in employee compensation (CEC) pay increases, should they be approved by the legislature. Please review the following directions.

ALL NEW AND CURRENT EMPLOYEES (Faculty, Staff, Adjuncts, and Temporary Employees)

DHR requires all State employees complete an instructor-led Respectful Workplace training every third year to satisfy this training requirement. Therefore, for the 2023 requirement, all new and current employees are required to complete this Respectful Workplace training as an instructor-led, Zoom based session, rather than watching a video refresher module which has been required the past two years. Below is a list of all dates/times available.

If you have already completed the 2023 session you will not have to do anything. You will be marked as completed.

Directions for attending a session:

Step 1 Please register for an upcoming session using this form: https://forms.gle/PdmaD3hXcXg7ERDH7. An ISU calendar invite with Zoom meeting information will be sent to you prior to the training.

STEP 2:  After identifying and attending your session, log into the talent management system (TMS) in MyISU and complete the quiz to record your attendance and certify you have completed this requirement. Directions for accessing TMS are available HERE
