Biographical Sketch
Colleen is a PhD candidate researching the role of mutations in voltage-gated sodium ion channels in neuromuscular and neurological diseases. She received her bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State University, where she double-majored in Psychological Sciences and Biomolecular Sciences. She began working with Dr. Groome at ISU in 2022, where she builds mathematical models of excitability in neurons and skeletal muscle fibers.
