Greenhouse

Idaho State University's Department of Biological Science greenhouse and native plant gardens provide a diverse and inspiring living collection of plants from around the world and our own beautiful Idaho. We participate in a variety of outreach events throughout the year.

If you are interested in volunteer opportunities or are curious about adding a hands-on botanical activity or guided tour to your event please contact:

 Plants inside the greenhouse

We are passionate about our goal to inspire curiosity and wonder of our natural world. We hope that the conservation of plants and healthy ecosystems will be the fruits of these experiential seeds planted. Come see us or follow us on Instagram to see what's blooming!

Faculty of the department and other educators can utilize the living greenhouse collection for a variety of botany, biology, and ecology lessons. There is also grow space available for classes and individual research including grow benches in the Plant Sciences building greenhouses and a variety of growth chambers.
