Step 1

Setup your MyISU account (formerly BengalWeb)

Idaho State students use MyISU to conduct all university-related business.

Set up your account by visiting the link provided in your letter of admission or check your email for the link from iam@isu.edu.

Step 2

Check your ISU Email Account

Your ISU email account will be critical to your success as a Bengal! We highly recommend checking this every single day and adding this email account to your mobile device for easy access. 

Logging in is simple! It's the exact same information you use to access MyISU. Simply click the email icon in MyISU or log in at Gmail.com.

Email Address: Your_ISU_Username@isu.edu 

Password: Your_MyISU_Password

Step 3

Invest in yourself

As soon as you are fully admitted by the required deadline (July 1, 2024) you will be automatically considered for our recruitment scholarships.
You must accept these scholarships by August 1, 2024.

Check BOSS for even more scholarship opportunities, and be sure to complete your FAFSA to be considered for Pell Grant, Work-Study, Loans, and Need-Based scholarships.

Check the status of your financial aid and scholarships by logging into MyISU and navigating to the student finances tab.

“Live On” at Idaho State

University Housing is varied, with plenty of secure, clean, and affordable living-learning environments for students.

You can submit a housing application by logging into MyISU. To check out our Residence Hall options, take a virtual Housing Tour!

Step 5

Visit Campus

Schedule an individualized campus tour, and let us roll out the orange carpet for you and your family!

Your fully customized experience will include a walking tour of our scenic campus with a current student ambassador, meetings with the academic departments of your choosing, a one-on-one meeting with your Admissions Coordinator, and so much more! 

Step 6

RSVP for New Student Orientation (NSO) and register for Fall 2024 classes

During this important event, you will become familiar with the campus and get registered for your classes. As part of this process, you must complete your pre-orientation modules and explore academic placement to ensure you are prepared to make the best possible class schedule. 

NSO happens multiple times throughout the summer, but RVSP now to save your spot; sections fill up quickly! 

Step 7

Attend New Student Convocation and March Through the Arch

This immersive student experience celebrates your first steps as a Bengal at ISU! Mark your calendar for the Friday before Fall classes begin and prepare to join a family of 120+ years of Bengals.

Important Deadlines

Submit dual/concurrent credit official college transcripts by June 30, 2024.

Accept Scholarships by August 1, 2024.

Submit Final High School Transcripts upon graduation. You must submit these transcripts after graduation or you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REGISTER for spring classes.
