Heron's Fountain

A fountain that is made out of glass
PIRA: 4F30.00

Materials: Rubber Stop with 2 holes and 1 rod, Rubber stop with 2 holes and 2 rods, flask, flask with ball and cup, water

This demo is to show a hydraulic machine that demonstrates the principles of hydraulics and pneumatics. Flow of water from high gravitational potential energy to low gravitational potential energy causes a fountain to form, due to increasing pressure on the inside of the system. This is done by filling up the middle spherical container with water then capping both ends with rubber stoppers and connecting the tubes into each other. The bigger rubber stop end goes into the flask. Then start filling the cup this will start filling the bottom flask and the fountain should start.
