Gas Law Apparatus

A syringe with a gauge next to it
4E00.00

This apparatus is very handy for demonstrating the Ideal Gas Law. It comes with a chamber and a piston with a digital thermometer and a barometer to measure the pressure inside the chamber. By changing the position of the piston you can show that there is a change in the temperature and pressure in the chamber. It is noteworthy to NOT HEAT THE CHAMBER. This may seem like a good idea to demonstrate that as the temperature increases the pressure increases, but the chamber can easily melt.
