Tennis Ball Resonance

Tennis balls connected to a bendable metal rod

PIRA: 3A60.40

Pieces of wood attached to two tennis balls on different lengths of saw blades are shaken to and fro. If shaken at the right frequency the tall ball will move, but the small one will not. If shaken faster the short ball will move while the tall one will stay put. This is similar to the head scratcher resonance demo.
