Refraction with Blackboard Optics

The refraction of light at flat surfaces is clearly demonstrated with the use of Blackboard Optics ray boxes, and large plexiglass forms, as shown in the pictures above.  The ray boxes require 10 or 12 V AC.  The Blackboard Optics Transformer shown at right provides this.  The room needs to be dark in order for the rays to be clearly visible to a large class.
