Materials: Tennis Ball, Projector, Ball Parabola

Project a parabola onto a screen and toss a ball with just the right velocity so that it follows the parabolic path.  Have a student on the other side of the screen to catch the ball and throw it back to you along the parabola.  One of the two tennis balls shown above is filled with lead shot.  Slip that one into your game of catch to show that trajectories do not depend on the mass of the projectile.
