Pressure Independent of Direction

A pressure manometer that the pressure is measured by a funnel in a fish tank
PIRA 2B20.10

The equipment needed for this demonstration are the large fish tank, the simple manometer, and the funnel with a clear plastic membrane. Fill the fish tank with plain water, and the manometer with colored water. The funnel is connected to the manometer with rubber tubing, and the funnel is placed in the fish tank and pointed in different directions at the same depth in the tank. The manometer will clearly indicate that the pressure in the tank is independent of direction.
