Ball Sucker

A ball floating on top of water in a fishbowl. The ball is connected to a syringe
PIRA: 2B40.08

Materials: Ball Sucker, Fish Tank, Water

This demo is to show buoyancy and density relationship. The ball being filler with air initially floats because air is less dense than water. However, once you suck the water into the ball it will start to sink because it is now denser than water due to the plastic surrounding and having water inside of it instead of air.
