Job/Position Title: Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor/Accelerated BSN Coordinator (6520) Meridian/Boise

Primary Purpose: In the Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor faculty role, the faculty is responsible for all aspects of the position – teaching, scholarship, and service. This position has additional responsibilities for coordinating activities for the accelerated nursing program in Meridian. The coordinator is expected to provide day-to-day coordination of the faculty, staff, and students for the accelerated program; and coordinates activities with the School of Nursing administration to assure student progression is supported. The coordinator maintains positive relationships with large and rural organizations for the support of student placement. The coordinator with guidance from administration is responsible to assure the accelerated program is managed effectively. This is an open-rank position in the clinical track and is eligible for promotion based on current published guidelines at SON, KDHS, and university levels.

Job/Position Title: Clinical Assistant Professor, School of Nursing (2484) Pocatello

Primary Purpose: The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching, scholarship, and service expectations of a faculty role in the School of Nursing. The emphasis is on teaching in baccalaureate nursing programs, and the continued expansion and development of the School of Nursing Accelerated program. Work with Accelerated program Coordinator to expand the Accelerated program to Southeast Idaho.

Job/Position Title: Adjunct Clinical Faculty, School of Nursing

Primary Purpose: The Adjunct Clinical Faculty member is responsible for providing instruction, supervising, and evaluating student performance in these various clinical settings throughout the state of Idaho. Clinical instruction consists of supervising a group of nursing students completing their clinical rotations in laboratory, hospital, extended care, and/or home health settings.
