Associate Dean/Director

Job/Position Title: Associate Dean/Director, School of Nursing (3649) Pocatello - Main

Primary Purpose: ISU’s College of Health (COH) invites applications and nominations for the position of Associate Dean/Director of the School of Nursing in the College of Health. The School of Nursing celebrated its 60th anniversary celebration in 2016. The School of Nursing offers the undergraduate degrees in nursing (RN-BSN, accelerated nursing and the traditional baccalaureate (BSN)) with approximately 225 students, masters (MSN) with approximately 12 students, doctor of nursing practice (DNP) with approximately 100 students, and doctor of philosophy (PhD) in nursing with approximately 10 students. The School of Nursing is a member of the COH, which is home to 17 distinct disciplines, 12 departments, 41 programs and 178 faculty and staff. The College of Health supports over 4000 students and serves the state-wide mission to educate health care professionals. The School of Nursing has 19 full time faculty and 9 staff. The Associate Dean/Director of the School of Nursing reports to the Dean of the College of Health and is a 12-month position. The Associate Dean/Director will be located at the main campus in Pocatello.

Job/Position Title: Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor, School of Nursing, Meridian Preferred (2585) 

Primary Purpose: To contribute to the teaching, scholarship, and service expectations of a faculty role in the School of Nursing (SON). Faculty role with primary emphasis in the undergraduate programs in the SON.

Job/Position Title: Undergraduate Nursing Faculty, School of Nursing Pocatello or Meridian (6520)

Primary Purpose: To contribute to the teaching, scholarship, and service expectations of a faculty role in the School of Nursing. The emphasis is on teaching and the continued development of the School of Nursing Undergraduate program, scholarship, and service.

Graduate

Job/Position Title: DNP Faculty, Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor, Nursing (7155) Pocatello or Meridian

Primary Purpose: The School of Nursing invites applications for a non-tenure track Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor to contribute to the teaching, scholarship, and service expectations of a faculty role. The emphasis is on teaching, scholarship, and assisting with project design and analyses.

Job/Position Title: DNP clinic provider with some teaching: Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor, Nursing (3815) Meridian/Boise

Primary Purpose: The School of Nursing invites applications for a FNP/PMHNP Clinic Provider to provide primary care and mental health care to students, faculty, staff, and community in Meridian Idaho and teach a class each semester in the PMHNP-DNP program at Idaho State University. This will be a dual responsibility position and will report to the DNP coordinator for teaching and the ISU Meridian Healthcare Clinic manager regarding clinic duties.

Job/Position Title: Adjunct Clinical Faculty, School of Nursing

Primary Purpose: The Adjunct Clinical Faculty member is responsible for providing instruction, supervising, and evaluating student performance in these various clinical settings throughout the state of Idaho. Clinical instruction consists of supervising a group of nursing students completing their clinical rotations in laboratory, hospital, extended care, and/or home health settings.
